Pathway Catalog Manifest

The authoritative, machine-readable inventory and standards registry for the Plant Pathway Atlas. Documents versioning, node/locus curation, SBGN-ML Process Description compliance, and vector assets.

Why is this Manifest Included & How is it Used?

Rather than burying pathway definitions in flat image files, the Plant Pathway Atlas implements strict FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles. The Catalog Manifest serves as the central registry that guarantees reproducibility, open standards, and computational interoperability.

๐Ÿ“‹ What Does It Contain?

Every curated pathway is assigned a persistent identifier (PPA-01 to PPA-16), exact node counts, curated AGI genetic loci, MapMan4 functional BIN mappings, and references to verified vector SVGs and libsbgn-compliant SBGN-ML files.

๐Ÿ”ฌ Why Do Scientists Need It?

Enables bioinformaticians to batch-download gene sets for Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA), import biological networks into Cytoscape, and programmatically verify diagram provenance without manual data scraping.

โš–๏ธ Standard Adherence

Every specification is validated against our rigorous JSON Schema (ontology/schema/map.schema.json) and audited by the automated ABAI Quality Control screen with cryptographic SHA-256 checksums.
